The iPlanetude team brings years of experience in both education and technology fields. Members of the team have significant experience travelling the world and have even hosted an educational tour for students.


Heidi

Heidi completed her undergraduate work at Portland State University and received her teaching license from Concordia University. Most recently she received her master’s degree from St. Mary's University. Heidi served two years (1999-2001) with the Peace Corps in Bulgaria teaching World Geography, English as a Second Language and World History. She has also lived in Turkey, Italy and Ecuador for extended periods of time. For the past seven years, she has been teaching social studies in Minnesota. Throughout the past twenty years, Heidi has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. For both Allison and Heidi, their professional careers have focused on the importance of global education.

Allison

Allison has been a teacher of EFL and social studies for the past ten years. After completing her undergraduate education at Drake University she traveled to northern Japan to teach with the JET Programme for two years. After returning to the U.S. she completed her master’s at the University of Minnesota and began teaching secondary social studies in Davis, California. Currently she teaches American and European history in Minnesota. She has traveled throughout the United States, Southeast Asia, as well as Western Europe. Most recently, Heidi and Allison co-chaperoned an educational tour through Western Europe with forty high school students.

Warren

Warren is a Senior Developer with Cargill, Inc where he has spent the last 10 years of his career. Warren is originally from Canada, and is now based in Minnesota after relocating in 2005. He has over 20 years experience in the Information Technology industry and has held various roles in development, architecture and management. He has experience designing and managing both large corporate websites and an industry leading web startup.

Dustin

Dustin currently works for Intel Corporation as a Business Development Manager in the health-care industry. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1998 with a degree in electrical engineering. Immediately thereafter he moved to California to begin his career with Intel. Since his college years, Dustin has developed and managed multiple websites. In addition, he is kept up-to-date with the latest in computing and technological trends with his job.
